Discover the new single from Lola James Harper featuring Ulona Hooman & Rami Mekdachi. The duo first met 10 years ago while recording the original soundtrack for the movie WITH together with Cécile Gohar, Karima Adams, and Fred Couderc.

Lola James Harper invited these artists to record in a unique Parisian music studio located in the Batignolles district.

For three years, Ulona was traveling back and forth between New York and Cape Town, while Rami was moving between Los Angeles and Paris… Their encounters gathered inspiration that naturally flowed into the lyrics and melodies. Earlier this month, once in Paris, Ulona and Rami took over the Lola James Harper studio together, started composing new melodies, began recording six brand‑new tracks, invited Nader Mekdachi to play blues guitar, and Laurent Chayne to accompany them on saxophone and low whistling… The result is a beautiful collaborative piece born from the hearts of many.

The Lola James Harper Studio opened its doors to the public, inviting friends and family for an exclusive listening session of the duo’s songs… The concert was filmed and shared live across social media channels.

‘Bye Love’ is the first release from a series of new tracks that Ulona and Rami have recently created with Lola James Harper…
